Meet Peekaboo - his name says it all! He is a shy kitty at first, but once he warms up to you, he is ready to cuddle and be friends. Peekaboo has gone through a lot of changes in his life - first being abandoned and then, luckily, taken into FURR foster care. He is now at the Phillipsburg, NJ Petco and has really settled in. We see this all the time - a timid, shy cat flourishes once they are given the love the deserve. Just look at the picture of him getting belly rubs! No fear, just joy for him now. He is very sweet and so quiet and calm. He would do best in a quiet home where he could relax with you on the couch as you watch TV and snuggle with you at night. He needs security and stability and love above anything else. Once he has those things, and life doesn't throw him anymore curve balls, he will be a great pet for your family. He is fine with older, considerate children but may be scared of toddlers and babies. Peekaboo is neutered, UTD on his shots, and FIV and FLV negative. Come meet him at the Phillipsburg, NJ Petco, and/or fill out a FURR Questionnaire to adopt him (the questionnaire is located in the left navigation panel on our website).

It is now kitten season and we are in dire need for more foster homes. Please contact us if you can foster a litter of kittens, bottlebabies or a mom with kittens. FURR pays for all vet care at our partner vets, and experienced foster parents are available to help the newbies through the joys of raising kittens. Fostering is fun, wonderful and saves lives.
